Going Primitive

I’m taking a class by Mindy Lacefield called Primitive Portraits. It’s getting back to basics and letting your art be honest, rough and real. It’s really a practice in loosening up and allowing some freedom back into your art. This is my first attempt. It’s done in a 2×2 piece of cardboard with gesso. I used Peerless watercolor paper…I LOVE THAT STUFF.
